There are many pros and cons to this plan of letting robots pick apples from trees and it could affect lots of people.The robots could eventually take jobs of apple pickers,and if not made correctly could malfunction and start fires or cause other problems.Some pros would be more apples could be picked in shorter time since they don't need breaks,and making the robots would bring around more jobs for making the robots.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the Apple Picking Robots are a good invention. They are fast enough to where they can pick one fruit per second from a tree. The Apple Picking Robots cause no harm and that's always a good thing to in regards to nature.
ReplyDeleteThe apple picking machine would take time off the job and stress off the the farmers picking them by hands. But the machines will break down and cost the farmers money to buy the parts, plus they could bruise or cut the fruit and lower the value of the the products. The machines will also take the jobs of people looking to make money

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think that using robots to pick fruit is a really good idea. It means that more fruit would be harvested each year because of how quickly the robots operate. But I do believe that might be some flaws , and or, problems to using the robots. Because they could malfunction and ruin the fruit. Overall I think it's a great that they've been created.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to letting robots pick apples I would have to say no. Robots are mechanical so there is no telling if it'll malfunction or not so they could potentially ruin our food. Companies think they this could be revolutionary when this could ruin food.
ReplyDeleteI think that apple picking robots are a faster way help farmers do there job. Also they wont bruise fruit which makes them loose value and it gets the job down faster. Them being able to pick one fruit per second will make a big change in production.
ReplyDeleteThe apple picking machine is a clever invention, but in the process of the robot working, it can make mistakes. The good thing about the the robot is it can work by itself quickly. the bad parts about the robot is it could tarnish apples and pick young apples and possibly light the whole tree on fire.
ReplyDeleteIn the article they talk about apple picking robots and how helpful they are on the apple orchard.I think the robots are very useful and they get the job done quicker and easier. They are harmless and work without pay whats not to like about them.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the robot picking apples is a great idea if they have it perfected. If not, they need to work on it more because it can possibly cost more money for the fruit orchard or company because the robot would be ruining the fruit. But if it's perfected, the orchard can be making a huge profit because they won't need to hire workers to pick the apples and they'll be selling apples more because the apples will be picked faster.
ReplyDeleteThe way I really look at this kinda sounds like there making the robots into there own workers. I mean come on you don't have to pay a robot now do you. but I believe that if this robot situation becomes a problem like everyone's got a robot and that robot is used to pick apples which is like for my answer on this would be a no. Only because were not that lazy that we can't pick apples and yet we make robots do it and that is my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on the invention is, the machine is very unique because it uses robots. I think it saves a lot of time and work for industries. Its a quicker way to sell apples
